Thanks to the valuable support of Gianluca Bauzano, an authoritative writer for “Il Corriere della Sera” and renowned expert in costume, fashion, music, and entertainment, our third-year students had the opportunity to experience a two-day “inspirational workshop<\/em>“<\/strong>, in preparation for their thesis work. <\/span><\/p>

The place where their creativity flourished<\/strong>, giving free rein to new ideas, is unique of its kind: The Ansaldo Laboratories<\/strong><\/a>, an impressive 20,000-square-meter structure, divided into three pavilions, capable of hosting artisanal production of stage settings – scenography, sculpture, thermoforming, carpentry, mechanical workshop, scene assembly, tailoring, costume development, and laundry. <\/p>

A space that houses more than 60,000 stage costumes; a heritage that exists thanks to the daily work of over 150 staff members including carpenters, blacksmiths, set builders, scenographers, set technicians, sculptors, seamstresses, and costume designers, who create entire stage settings from a simple sketch. <\/p>
