Designer to Watch with the \u201cQualcos\u2019altro\u201d collection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection is inspired by the idea that form is \u201cSomething Else<\/em>\u201d compared to simple matter: it does not coincide with the thing itself, but communicates beyond what it contains<\/strong>. It cannot be reduced to the material that constitutes it, because it expresses a surplus of meaning capable of surpassing and transforming the object. Within the block of marble, the form is not created, but revealed: it is already present, hidden within the matter. The artist does not add, but subtracts, eliminating the superfluous to make visible what was invisible. The block thus becomes the site of a tension between what emerges and what remains concealed, between matter and latent form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
